Jaguars live in different parts of the rainforest depending on the time of year because when the forest floor is flooded they live in the canopy until the water drains away when they go back to living on the forest floor. They eat larger animals as well as smaller animals such as turtles, birds and reptiles.
Their adaptions include strong, short limbs, an extremely strong jaw as well as sharp teeth and a muscular, stocky build.
